California 5 Goldback – Abundantia (Abundance)

The California 5 Goldback features Abundantia, the virtue of Abundance, in a design inspired by the agricultural richness and celebrated wine country of Sonoma Valley, California.

Standing among rows of grapevines, Abundantia holds clusters of ripe grapes, representing the rewards that can come from patience, cultivation, and responsible stewardship. The vineyard setting connects the artwork to Sonoma’s long winemaking tradition and California’s broader agricultural heritage.

Beside Abundantia appears the California quail, the official state bird. Its presence adds another distinctly Californian element to the design while reinforcing themes of prosperity, natural beauty, and good fortune. Under UV light, a hidden ladybug becomes visible, adding another small symbol traditionally associated with luck.
