Utah 3 Goldback LER – Celeritas (Speed)
The Limited Early Release Utah 3 Goldback features Celeritas, the virtue of Speed, in a design inspired by Utah’s legendary racing history at the Bonneville Salt Flats.
Celeritas is portrayed as a 1930s racecar driver behind the wheel of a classic Hudson Speedster, racing across the vast white salt flats of western Utah. The scene pays tribute to the Bonneville Salt Flats’ long-standing reputation as one of the world’s most famous locations for land-speed racing and record-setting automotive achievement.
Dressed in vintage racing gear, Celeritas embodies quick action, precision, and the relentless pursuit of progress. Her pose and surroundings reflect the split-second decision-making and technical ambition that defined early speed-record competitors.
Overhead, California gulls, Utah’s state bird, cross the open sky. Their movement reinforces the themes of freedom, adaptability, and speed across Utah’s expansive landscape.
The design also contains hidden details that appear under UV light. The racecar’s headlights become illuminated, while a racing flag is revealed behind the vehicle, adding another layer of motion and competition to the artwork.
