The 25 milligram Prairie Dog Aurum® gold bill is a special, limited-edition add-on to the existing Natural Treasure Aurum® series (which would complete the collection for a total of six bills). The bill showcases a Prairie Dog in Pawnee Butte, located in Northeast Colorado. On the front side of this bill, an observant and social prairie dog is featured as a large profile on the right and a small reverse in the lower left. In the upper right corner, there are pure gold paw prints showcasing the small but mighty prairie dog’s classic gait. Multiple levels of micro-printing and security elements have been embedded throughout the artwork.
